Parents

 Rohit Karwal

I joined the governing body at St Francis as a parent governor in September 2018 and am the finance link governor. I sit on the resources committee and my son currently attends the school. I have lived in the local area for over 25 years, with close ties to the school having also previously attended as a child. I currently work within financial services and have joined the governing body to support the school in any way I can and give back to the school and the local community that I have been a part of for many years.

Rita Cabrita

Hello, my name is Rita Cabrita and I am originally from Portugal. I have lived in Oxford since 2002 and I currently live in Temple Cowley with my husband and three children, one of which attends St Francis nursery. I am currently an associate governor, having been a parent governor between November 2016 and September 2018. I became interested in governance because I thought it would be useful to use my skills and experience drawn from my professional role as a Practice Manager at a local GP surgery. I believe those skills to be useful in helping St Francis CE Primary School to maintain its mission and values and achieve its targets of delivering a first class education to KS1 and KS2. In my spare time I  enjoy reading, walking and travelling to new places.
